Course Description

In pool, skill alone isn't enough. What is the fundamental difference between winning and losing? It's your ability to handle pressure, bounce back from mistakes, and stay composed in those high-stakes moments.

Mental Match Play for Competitive Pool Players is a course built from 25 years of competing at the highest level and learning what it takes to win under pressure.

Throughout my career, I've seen it all: bad rolls, tough opponents, brutal mistakes, and the weight of a high-pressure final. However, I've also learned how to deal with those challenges, stay in control, and turn a rough start into a winning performance.

In this course, I'll share the exact mental tools and strategies I use to keep my mindset strong, and turn matches around when everything seems wrong.

Mental reset techniques to recover from mistakes, bad rolls, and shaky starts

The ability to stay focused when emotions are high

Strategies to handle tough opponents and unexpected challenges

Tools to build resilience, maintain confidence, and stay mentally strong in every match

A mindset shift that helps you turn setbacks into momentum

Niels is for sure the most professional athlete we have in our sport and I always looked up to him. Of course it‘s a no-brainer for me to check out and benefit from his mental course. I can 100% recommend it to anyone, doesn‘t matter if you are an amateur or a pro player. In our sport it‘s so much about mental fitness, so take this opportunity and learn from the legend himself!

Niels and I played on many different stages worldwide and also partnered up many times in the Mosconi Cup for team Europe. One thing is for sure: he is a very tough nut to crack and never gives up, no matter what the score is. Just this fact alone shows, how mentally strong he is. In order to find out about the secrets behind it, book one of the courses he is offering. I am certain it's a good investment.

I have been privileged to work with some of the best players in this era of pool. One of my best “pupils” ever has been Niels. Always diligent. In his practice, and his lifestyle, but especially diligent in finding the answers to the challenges he faced to become the best. In our time together we tried to solve the big mysteries of the mental side of our sport. We found a lot of answers and even after our cooperation, he has never stopped to pursue finding solutions to improve. This makes him one of the best informed players in the world and when Niels decides to put that info for all to learn… it’s time to listen!

I recommend this course 100%.  Niels has been and is my favorite player for his mental strength and his ability to recover in difficult moments. Nowadays, the mental part is everything in this game... and even more so at a professional level. I took the course a few years ago, and I think it was a turning point in my career...I think it would be mandatory to take this course if you want to improve in this area.

I have always admired Niels Feijen, watching him on TV growing up in events like the ESPN Challenge of Champions and the Mosconi Cup. His hard work and dedication to the game have earned him a reputation as one of the greats in pool. It’s a real pleasure to not only learn from him, but also to call him a friend. I had the privilege of playing alongside him during the 2016 Mosconi Cup, and the lessons I picked up from him during practice were invaluable. Niels is as solid as they come, and his teaching is among the best in the game.

When I started to compete in Europe there always has been one player who really gave me a hard time but made me work harder. Luckily I played him many times, I learned so much just buy playing him!Niels mental strength and his determination to the game just makes him the player he is. A beast!

Nine-Ball, Eight-Ball Champion

When I was young Niels was the one everyone was looking up to. He was the one to beat in Europe for a decade. You could clearly see that people were afraid playing him because he was dominating the game in such a manner. He also showed what u can achieve with dedication, practice and discipline. To this day I believe Niels is one of the only real Athletes we have in pool. His preparation for matches is unmatched. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sticks on the tour for another 10 years and winning many more tournaments.
